Remember my question about the brown/bay Percherons and if they were actually Percherons? I have found out from the woman who shows drafts at the same shows as this team. She says they are Black Percherons. But the owner lets them out in pasture during the summer and they bleach out. The reason the legs are still black..., giving that Bay appearance, is because the "Bay" color is in the Bloodlines of these guys.Read More

Who can tell me what Breed of Draft horse are these! Percheron? Shire?
Something else? I do know that it cannot be a mixed breed, as this was
a draft breed show.They are chocolate brown with black points (Bay). A
couple have hind white ankles/pasterns.
