The Seen Gallery joins with Mingei World Arts for a Special Evening.

The figures are now on display in the front window at Mingei. Come see these magnificent pieces while they are all together! Then, on Friday evening, join us for some seasonal libations and view and bid on the figures at Mingei and The Seen Gallery. Bidding will end at 10:00 PM. Mingei World Arts is located at 427 Church Street and The Seen Gallery is one door down at 415 Church Street
Donations for the fund will be happily accepted-- even if you don't go home with one of the Guadalupe figures!
We encourage bidders to bring cash or a check for their winning bid purchases rather than planning to pay with a credit or debit card so that their entire total can be applied to the microloan fund.

The Seen Gallery begins their eighth year of representing James and his furry friend "Pete". During these 8 years, James has gained a national reputation for his artwork and Mary Jane is well on her way with her first published book "Love at the Pub".

Start the 8th Annual Decatur Wine Festival weekend off early at the Grange Public House wine tasting on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. Banfi Vintners will be showcasing an assortment of wines from Italy and South America. The Grange will be serving light appetizers.
Cost = $15 All proceeds will benefit the Decatur Arts Alliance.

The 8th annual Decatur Wine Festival will be held on Saturday, November 7 from 1 until 4pm on the Old Courthouse Square in downtown Decatur. Taste over 200 wines from around the world and sample foods from local Decatur restaurants. Musical performances by Ernie Quarles and Shaun Anderson and the Heaven Davis Band.
Tick...ets will be available September 1 online at www.ticketalternative.com for $30. No tickets will be sold at the gate and admission is limited to 2000 people. Event is rain or shine. No one under 21 will be admitted. No children or pets. Proceeds benefit the Decatur Arts Alliance which offers the annual Decatur Arts Festival free to the community. Decatur Arts Alliance An eclectic and fascinating roster of artists at the Beacon Hill Artists Studios located at West Trinity Pl. and Electric Ave. in Decatur will open each of their studios to the public. Artists will show works in ceramics, sculpture, jewelry design, mixed media, painting and fabric. Artwork will be available for purch...ase form the artists. Donations and art sales will benefit the Decatur High School arts programs.
