Rick Sisler Jr Another day of great weather for Neil and sons! No wind and lots of sun! The flats fishing should be great as well.

Rick Sisler Jr
Andros South Blue Water report for the Krauter Krew!
Great weather with no wind and clear skies welcomed them from the start of this day. They spent about half the day working on fish with a couple dorado, a 30 plus pound wahoo and a triple on barracuda at one point in the action. The second half of the day was spent do...ing scuba and snorkeling on one of the greatest reefs in the world.

Rick Sisler Jr First day on the water at Andros South for our guests Neil, Neil Jr and Christian. The wind is about 5 mph and the lights are on so the fishing should be killer! Headed to the Cistern Point area of South Andros for some action with whatever they can get to hit.

Rick Sisler Jr Well it seems that the weather slamming the East coast has also affected the Bahamas. First time in months that the temperature has been below 70 degrees. We had to turn the AC off last night and add an extra blanket to the bed,boo hoo!! We have some guests showing up at Andros South the day after Christmas so we hope it warms up by then!

Rick Sisler Jr Safe travels Bill and Fred, we will see you in the spring at Andros South! We have some great spots open in May! Thanks for spending the extra time with us!

Rick Sisler Jr Andros South has 320+ days of sunshine each year. Unfortunately today is not one of them. Bill and Fred are fishing today in the tough weather, though I have a feeling they will still have a good day!

Deneki Outdoors We just launched an all-new web site that combines our blog with our old lodge sites. Have a look!

Rick Sisler Jr While fishing with Chris at Chile West make sure to ask him about the giant orange bumble bee!

Rick Sisler Jr Giant butterfly of the Bahamas, called a Bat Moth by some of the locals. This one was about 5" across, but they get bigger. Only seen at night so most often mistaken for a bat, hence the name I presume?
