If your New Year’s resolution involves your health, read up. “The Medical Issue” dives into the healthcare issues affecting our state, cutting-edge technologies, state-of-the-art facilities, and experts in the field. We explore the raging medical marijuana debate as the laws of the land meet the will of the populace. L...ooking for a new doctor? HealthGrades, the leading independent rations organization for medical professionals, offers their recommendation across all specialties. Our cover story reveals that Colorado is poised to be a major player on the forefront of the bioscience industry – bringing the latest research to bedside in record time. This month’s “Savor” section takes an inside look at what food cravings mean and three area chefs (and hard-core athletes) give you their secrets to fueling up. We meet Klaus Obermeyer, who turned 90 last month. He’s living proof that staying active will take you a long way. There’s a lot of information to digest, but our January issue will keep you on track to improved health this year.

With the Starz Denver International Film Festival taking over our town this month, the November issue is all about entertainment!
We talk to our cover girl, Sarah Siegel Magness and Gabourey Sidibe, producer and star, respectively, of the new film Precious, which will open the festival and is generating a cacophony of ...Oscar Buzz.
Our publisher sat down with Harrison Ford at his private Santa Monica hangar to talk about acting and aviation; he'll be honored at Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum on November 14th.
We stopped short of actually interviewing Genghis Khan, for obvious reasons; instead we get the real story behind the collection of centuries of artifacts that tell his tale. TV chef Guy Fieri chatted with us on a break from his 20-city cooking-meets-rock 'n' roll show tour that comes to the Paramount in December.
Of course there's more...from an underground comedy troupe to a film about dolphin fishing. Our "Savor" section visits Colt & Gray and we extol the virtues of both bold red wines and richly seasoned cured meats for the cooler temperatures.
