Bring yourself, a teddy bear and some food to Markeaton Park for a fun social; followed by a game of rounders or maybe ultimate frisbee. Apparently Martin is deciding which as it is his birthday!

For those that know him, its Martin Lee's 22nd birthday. For those that don't know him... never mind, come anyway!

The idea is that you buy the equipment (See Below), Then one weekend we all come down to Lynx HQ, Saturday we make them, followed by a BBQ and Drinks, Sunday we go and hopefully fly them.

*Ready Made Rockets* £15+

Basically, you buy a Kit. but you will still need glue, spray paint, rocket motors (making sure you buy the right ones) and knife

*Build your own* £20+

Basically you will need:-

Glue (Super glue (Flash) and normal glue)
Spray paint
Body Tube (i recommend BT-50 tubes)
Nose cone (i recommend BT-50 nose cones)
Balsa or thin Ply wood for fins
Motor mount (i recommend 18 mm BT-50 Mounts)
Parachute
Strong cord (Kevlar)
Motors ( 18mm (C) the number is the rate of power)
Elastic cord
Recovery Wadding
Mcdonalds Straw
Craft Knife
Jr Hack Saw
