Born and raised on the Southside of Des Moines, IA, where I graduated from Lincoln High School. During High School I got into martial arts, which I started in Jeet Kune Do. From there I go into Kick Boxing and Jiu-Jitsu. I had my first MMA fight in 2005. Eventually I became undefeated (7-0), the Lightweight Champion ...of MCC- Midwest Cage Championship, and starred in the Midwest based Mediacom reality show, "Making the Fighter." Since then I have signed a 4 fight deal with the Super Bowl of MMA, The UFC- Ultimate Fighting Championship. Fighting for the UFC has been my goal since day 1. I knew I'd make it, but the work has just started. I lived and trained all over, from San Diego, CA to Honolulu, HI to Phoenix, AZ to Seattle, WA to my home base in Des Moines, IA. At home I train at DMJJ & DMMMA with other studs like Josh Neer, Jeremy Stephens, Kevin Burns, and many many others. Pretty much I live, eat, and sleep MMA. That's all I do and think about. In my free time, I like to enjoy my time with my family & friends. I'm very religious, as my dad is a pastor, so I spend a lot of my time at Church. Other then that I like to watch movies, eat, watch MMA events, and go to live entertainment. I'm big into Jiu-Jitsu, and actually own a Submission Tournament.
