The 4 guys from "Destroy All Sweaters", Raleigh's Weezer tribute band thought it would be fun to write and perform some music of their own. We've completed a few rough demo's (some rougher than others) and we're working on more. All of our demos are available for ...free download at http://www.ReverbNation.com/TheFiats . We're trying anything and everything on for size, with no particular style or boundaries in site. Some of our biggest influences are Weezer (of course), Pixies, Smashing Pumpkins, Janes Addiction, Radiohead, Blue October and Muse, although the music we've written so far sounds not much like any of them.

Destroy All Sweaters has been on fall break and is now ready to rock. Our guitarists' wife had a beautiful baby girl, Ruby. She loves the WEEZER! Great job Merry and Wade.
We've been working super hard on new tunes for the show including, the new Weezer single "If Your Wondering..." and "I'm Your Daddy, " appropriat...e enough.

Main Event (aka Main Street Event) is born!
A community event comes to life with food, music and beer. On October 3, Main Street in Durham, NC will be closed off from Gregson to Morgan to make room for a festival of sorts. There will be food (BBQ, burgers and more!), 3 bands (stage setup!) and beer (can you say beer tru...ck!?!) What more can you ask for?
Well, it's only $5 in advance or $8 at the door (21+ only). Tickets go on sale September 8th at Alivia's Durham Bistro — right alongside the Beer Festival Tickets. Buy them together and save some dollars.
