“Whenever we play them it’s always going to be a battle to the death just because we’re such competitive schools,” Menlo’s Maggie Brown said. “We know coming into this game it’s always going to be hard because there’s that competitive drive.”

I just wanted to acknowledge Head Coach at Howard University: Melinda Vaughn. She is doing great work bringing lacrosse to inner city kids in Philadelphia.
While very few public schools in major cities field teams, there are those who are working to bridge that gap and introduce the sport to children. “My mentor and fri...end, Tina Sloan Green in conjunction with Ayanna Green, coordinate a play day in June for kids in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas," said Vaughn. "The kids get to play lacrosse and get a feel for the game."

Traveling East on the Long Island Expressway (I-495):
Exit 37 (Willis Ave.)
From exit ramp, continue on the service road, turn left at the second light (Roslyn Road North) Continue north on Roslyn Road to end (Roslyn Clock Tower will be on the right) Turn left at Clock Tower, go ...under Viaduct & Continue onto West Shore Road for about 1 mile, Harbor Links is on the left, Take first into Executive Golf Course Parking lot. Fields will be to the right of the club house

From the exit ramp continue West on the Service Road for three lights Turn right at the third light (Roslyn Road North) Continue north on Roslyn Road to end (Roslyn Clock Tower will be on the right) Turn left at Clock Tower, go under Viaduct & Continue onto West Shore Road for about 1 mile, Harbor Links is on the left. Take first into Executive Golf Course Parking lot. Fields will be to the right of the club house
