"Planitia" Added to Free Gallery April 13
This forum thread was brought to my attention a couple of days ago. I'd like to mention it here for a couple of reasons. First, I want to thank the members of this particular forum for setting the original poster straight on the ethics of purloining access to my Members Gallery. More importantly, I wanted to make it clear to every one who might not know: All of the artwork in Free and Members galleries is created by a single artist (me).
Digital Blasphemy is a one man show, not a "giant international mega-business". I'm just an artist trying to make a living with my art. When you purchase a Membership you are directly supporting me and my family, not some faceless corporation.
I realize that there are a number of different art styles in the gallery and it is flattering to think that people mistake this for the work of numerous artists. DB has been online for more than 10 years and I would have hung it up a long time ago if I could only make one kind of picture.
Anyway, just wanted to share it with you all. It's definitely not the first time I've read people discussing "pirating" my work (an eerie feeling to be sure), but this particular discussion gave me some hope.
