Doberman Heroes
The American Kennel Club is now accepting nominations for the Awards of Canine Excellence (ACE). The ACE Awards recognize purebred dogs that have accomplished something significant (big or small) to benefit the community or an individual. The AKC is appointing a winner in each of the following categories: Law Enforceme...nt, Search & Rescue, Therapy, Service and Companion Dog. Each winner will be presented with a medallion and a $1K check at the AKC/Eukanuba Championship in Long Beach, California December 2009.
The DPCA will again process any Doberman application on your behalf. This is a continuation of last year's effort which resulted in an ACE award for Donna and Annie Rock, presented to them at the DPCA Centennial. Thanks to the easy to use Web-based ACE Award application form available at http://dpca.org/breed/breed_ace.htm created by Michelle Kramer, entering your dog couldn't be easier . Please visit the link and fill out the application. You will then receive instructions about where to send a photograph to accompany your submission. The DPCA will take care of the rest on your behalf.
We must have your entry (including photographs) by May 31, 2009 in order to process your application.
