McHoul Family Funeral Home of Dorchester is leading a winter coat drive and asking area residents to donate new and used winter coats for the distribution to the Greater Boston area.
“The cold threatens those who are unable to buy winter coats, especially children. Now is the time to donate your coats, before you put t...hem away for the summer,” said Ryan O’Hanlon, owner of McHoul Family Funeral Home. “Perhaps your kids have outgrown their old coats or you are running out of storage space. Drop them by so that we can give them to people who will truly need them through the tough New England winter.”
Donations are being accepted for new or used mint winter coats, hats, gloves and mittens of various sizes. You can drop off items at the McHoul Family Funeral Home located at 354 Adams Street, Dorchester from June 29 - July 3 during regular business hours. You may also call the McHoul Family Funeral Home at (617) 282-1409 to schedule another time that is suitable for you.
