Will Universal USA continue to snub MIDNIGHT LACE on its 50th anniversary year?
This has to be one of the BIG mysteries of our time. This highly successful picture may well have been released outside of North America on DVD but for some reason the execs at Universal have ignored requests for it to be re-issued stateside...

Midnight Lace would be a great dvd release. for one thing this film needs to be released in restored color and letterboxed and it wouldn't kill them to add extras like the 1960 Golden Globes, the premiere footage and the wardrobe short subject always being shown on tcm.
