For the first time in its long history The White Cliffs hotel will play host to an open air cinema!
The beautiful walled garden will be transformed into the perfect setting for the screening of one of the World’s most memorable films on to a 30 ft wide giant screen with surround sound.
We shall be celebrating the 50th a...nniversary of the release of this 1959 American comedy film directed by Billy Wilder and starring Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon.
The film will commence at 8.15pm and doors will open at 6pm so come down and find your spot on the lawn or enjoy a drink or two in the bar or a pre-performance dinner in The Bay Restaurant!
We’ll also be offering traditional cinema favourites throughout the evening including hot dogs & popcorn!!!
As well as picnic blankets, don't forget to bring a jumper as it can get chilly after the sun has set!
Be sure to buy your tickets soon as there is a strictly limited capacity.
In the event of wet weather, the screening will still go ahead. Please remember to bring warm clothing and a blanket as it can get cold when the sun sets! Only in extreme weather will the screening be cancelled.
Children are welcome but please ensure that they do not disturb other audience members during the screening;- )
Some chairs are available but please be aware that you may have to sit at the side or the back to avoid blocking other people's view of the screen.
