The DMG an alliance of more than 30 districts, destinations, attractions and civic groups throughout greater Downtown Kansas City, MO collaborating through the leadership of the Downtown Council.

In recent years, perhaps downtowns most visible marketing effort albeit indirectly was a TV spot for Bob Jones Shoes featuring Petula Clarks signature song and some area footage. Now someone new is urging us to go downtown.

Downtown Council of Kansas City Join the Downtown Council for an 18th & Vine pub crawl on Thursday, July 30. We'll kick the event off at Harper's Restaurant at 5:00 with cocktails, appetizers, and live entertainment before heading to three other venues in the district.

Philip Kirk, Jr. Award, given to one civic leader, and the Urban Hero Award, recognizing 6 to 10 individuals and organizations. Recognition will occur at the DTC Annual Luncheon in December.
