If you've seen the hit ABC comedy "Scrubs," you've probably heard of The Blanks. The a cappela comedy quartet serenaded a standing-room only crowd Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at Luther Midelfort in Eau Claire. These are some of the highlights.

City should fund DECI operations,

I agree with this. DECI is vitally important for the future of Downtown Eau Claire. Things are headed in the right direction and now is not a time to back track.

As a member of DECI and a shop owner in Downtown Eau Claire, I feel DECI is vital to keeping Downtown alive. Small businesses are the backbone of our economy and backing DECI means backing regrowth. Now is a time when we should be thinking of how to help small businesses, and the local level of government should be actively supporting their interests. Phasing out DECI goes against the City of Eau Claire's interests.

Rev. Aaron O'Donahue

Rev. Aaron O'Donahue Does anyone know if the court house ever has witnesses swear in on the bible, or if the judge ever says "may god help you" with a court ruling, or if the judge ever includes religious language in the civil unions he performs, or if faith based programs are ever required or advised in court rulings?

Rev. Aaron O'Donahue Does anyone know if the local jail has chaplain programs that detainees are rewarded for attending? http://churchofatheism.webs.com

Turn it into a downtown-only electric cab company station? Turn it into a homeless shelter that doesn't require the attendees to go to a church?
