Edward L Glessner I remember walking in the forest for hours and hours when I was little, on the property that is now the Empire Mine Historical Park. In fact my father worked for the mine in the late 40's and early 50's.

Susan E Marshall Hello all GV folks! I am considering moving to GV in January to simplify, rest, and be in nature. I live in the Bay area now and need to downshift a bit for my nervous system. I am very into healing arts, nature, consciousness, yoga and arts. Will I find what I am looking for there? I am also single in my late 30s w/ t...wo kitties. Is it a younger scene there? On Saturday, November 7, from 11 am - 6 pm, at the corner of Broad and Union Streets in Nevada City, Aikido'Ka is holding its third annual can drive for the Nevada County Food Bank.
Jackie Perry I will miss Grass Valley and all the fine folkes that I have met. As for the past 5 years, I will be back during the summer, unless I get my business going again in the Bay Area, then it will be for a visit.
