Downtown Muskegon Volunteers needed: Muskegon Main Street is looking for volunteers to help decorate downtown for the Holidays. We'll be working at Hackley Park Nov 23, 24, and 25 from 9:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m getting ready for the lighting of the tree Nov 28 at 6:00 p.m. Come by anytime you can! Thanks for the info. No, as I said, I live in downtown Muskegon. I talked to others and they, too, had never heard of the Hamilton Apartments. Most folks use Western Ave, Sanford, and 3rd St. My family used to go to First Congregational Church. None of those streets go past the Hamilton Apts. Now that I know where it is, I guess I've seen the top floors through the trees before.

Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. with the l...ighting of the tree taking place at 6:00 p.m.

And while you are downtown, why not get done some of your Holiday Shopping from one downtown's unique retailers? Five retailers including Hegg's Gallery of Fine Furniture, Jilly's Gallery, Sun, Wind, & Rain, Clay Avenue Cellars, and the Hackley & Hume Historic Sites will be open on the day of the event until 7:00 p.m.
