Downtown South Lyon Just a reminder that the Real Estate One office in South Lyon is a designated "Coats for the Cold" drop off spot for the Oakland County Sheriff's Depratment until November 30th. There is a POD in the parking lot at 346 N. Lafayette where you may leave your donations. Have a great Thanksgiving everyone!
Downtown South Lyon Don't forget about the upcoming Holiday Jingle - Saturday, December 5th! Early bird specials start at 10:00 a.m. and there will be events throughout the day. Get your picture taken with Santa and Thunder the reindeer, take a ride in a horse-drawn carriage, go on the Holiday Jingle fitness walk through downtown and stay... for the tree lighting ceremony which starts at 4:30 p.m. See a complete schedule of events as well as a map of holiday sales and specials from local merchants here:

The winner will have the honor of lighting the City’s Christmas tree during South Lyon’s Holiday Jingle Dec. 5 along with receiving special recognition during the ceremony. Downtown South Lyon Hope you can make it to the Veteran's Day tribute today at 11:00 a.m. at the Veteran's Memorial located at the corner of Pontiac Trail and Liberty Streets. The VFW and the DDA did some work to the area a couple months ago to have it restored in time for Veteran's Day.
