Me too a huge fan. I hate to tell how many years :). At least 40 years. He's been a real joy to listen too and taught so many artists the right way to do music. Most of the up and comers once played with Doyle, plus he's a wonderful person to boot.

Darren started a band called Darren Beachley and Legends of the Potmac that includes Tom Gray, Mike Auldridge, Norman Wright, and Mark Delaney. They're based out of the Washington D.C. area where D.C, VA, and MD all meet. They have a sound that's similar to the early Seldom Scene and Country Gentlemen. It's good to hear Mike Auldridge playing dobro... See More again! I guess John Starling's band, Carolina Star, has disbandoned.

Darren McGuire took Beachley's place, but he must have moved on because there's a new guy in the photos that I haven't seen before. Quicksilver is an ever changing band as far a personel goes, but the sound of the band is always similar and top notch vocally and instrumentally!!!
