Why do they all have to start by saying "Greetings"? Isn't it a little cliché by now? On that note, here's our submission.

Check out our submission to Dr. Horrible's Evil League of Evil video contest!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bIa4_AWdZiw

Our official submission had to be no more than 3 minutes, so I broke the video up into three pieces. Episode 2 includes the musical part of the video, and is our official contest submission, but check out episodes 1 and 3 for the full video. Soon I will also post the entire 5 minute video in one piece.
Mad props and kudos to my partners in crime: Amy, Megan, Cliff and Mike!

This and The Guild are both amazing. Great job guys I can't wait for more episodes. You should post the next time you need extras from the LA area.

Incredible

I've shared this with so many friends that I've lost count. The singing is stellar, and the humor is very well-delivered. Nathan Fillion is particularly entertaining in his role as the womanizing arch-nemesis.
"Evil"... or the greater good?

"There seems to be a trend of musicals featuring a villain as a protagonist, lately"
(by Chris Woytowitz at 7:32am on September 5th, 2008)

...starting with Sweeney Todd? I suppose it's a fine line between 'villain' and 'anti-hero'...
Oh, so I'm supposed to review the film. Unlike many converts, I've loved musicals since I saw Little Shop as a lad, and comic-book super-drama since before I can remember, so I'm the target demo and probably not a good unbiased reviewer...
That said, best movie EVER, duh!!! >_<
... but back to the moral themes, like...
(um, SPOILERS)

do you guys think that Doc's "save-the-world-by-ruling-it Dr. Doom-ish social reform agenda moves forward after he's "triumphed", or does the 'darkness inside' embitter him so that he just wants the cash and fame...? My pal Mike and I thought the latter, and that probably most of the ELE had good intentions at one time, but I wondered what others thought is all. *_*

With the fire of a thousand suns...

Do I enjoy this film. I was ignorant of the singing ability of... actually... all three of the leads until I saw this and hol-y shit. I catch myself singing this stuff in the shower now. Joss Whedon is an amazing if not frustrating writer (always killing off the people you make us like the most... bastard), and the musical score in itself is very well done. I can't help but agree with the review immediately before mine... only the undead and damned could ever hate this video.
Title.

If you don't like Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, quite frankly, you have no soul.
Is this love?
by Karolyn at 6:53pm on September 26th, 2008
So, my friend introduced me to this yesterday. Today, I watched it twice more. I have been humming the songs all day (and singing whenever I could remember the words). Not only is this a deliciously enjoyable thing to watch, it is a statement! As I'm sure many of you know, this was made during that writers' strike several months ago. This was the creators' way of sticking it to the man--and did they ever!!

To conclude, this is awesome on several different levels, and I can't wait to hear that they have released it on DVD.
Great Job

There is no way that the catchy music and hilarious script can't get to you. Every scene I bought, and all the songs I sing randomly throughout the day.

I really, really love this show. The catchy, evocative music and mesmerizing acting combine and stick to my psyche like fried eggs on a pan. This is my brain on Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. Succinct and brilliant.
Nice try, Rob

Accusing Joss Whedon, one of the most creative and original minds ever to come out in generations, of cheating is not only rediculous, it just doesn't make sense. He knew he was going to be releasing it to more or less the exact age group that can watch anything on demand online, and has no qualms about calling his bluff. An idiotic claim. That and Dr. Steel is not funny. So much fore the "original" bs.

Anyways...

I loved every minute of it. I've watched it over and over again, and like all of you, I know the songs, many of them by heart. I was lukewarm about musicals before this, not I actually believe them to be a legitimate form of storytelling when done right. As with Firefly, Whedon took what would otherwise be an unholy fusion of genres and made it something spectacular. Bravo.
