Dr. William Kolbrener I had a friend in college who always wanted to get me to listen to a bootleg of Dylan - live at Royal Albert Hall - Was too busy with the Stones, etc, so I never did until years later when it was released... Shame the credits roll on this... But you do get the 'Judas' - sense of betrayl for Dylan going electric... Great moments in Rock n' Roll - shabbat shalom...

Dr. William Kolbrener Which is more deforming to the human personality - extreme poverty or wealth? I just came back from Mea Shearim - saw both, and it's a toss-up.
Dr. William Kolbrener Tshuva is the one mitzvah that has to be done l'shma. In all the others, we can falsify: use the outer shell of our actions, as way of impersonating who we want to become. But with tshuva, it's got to be real; it's got to be me.
