1997: My first painting - whipped off in a moment of whimsy about a half hour before I was due at a friend's house as a sort of housewarming token. Cheap student-quality paints (not even sure what kind - watercolour, probably, but maybe acrylic) on the kind of paper you buy for little kids to finger-paint on.
She actua...lly had it professionally framed and still has it on her wall.

Just a note to briefly apologize for the word 'fan' on this site - I tried to find a way to change it to 'friend' or 'supporter' or something just a little less cheesy; but hey - I'm cheap and lazy and this is easier than redesigning my website.
