The money is being used to improve patient environments and surroundings... This includes entrance areas and gardens where a lot of patients spend their time. This garden makeover only represents a small amount of the work that is going to be carried out at the Sir Charles Gairdner oncology wards. Thanks to the ABC and the public for providing the labour for free. Check back soon to see where else the Dry July funds are used. The Dry July Team.

Dry July Due to the desert coming to Sydney for the day, it took us an age to get to Adelaide, but by hook and by crook we made it and met the good folks at the QEH in Adelaide. Unfortunately, due to our late arrival, ABC's Matthew Abraham wasn't available to pick up his trophy but we were promised it would be hand delivered to him in the bubble wrap it came in...

Dry July It was great to meet all the staff at the Brisbane Mater Hospital and The Royal Melbourne Hospital... The money that was raised by all the Dry July Participants in QLD, VIC and TAS is going to make a really difference to the patients at these hospitals.
