Jim Berry, the former University of Northern Iowa and Loras College men's basketball coach, passed away Tuesday. He was 73. Berry became the Duhawks coach in 1969, and also handled the men's golf program. The next year he became the athletic director...

Loras College Athletics Duhawk soccer teams kick off the 2010-11 home schedule with wins over St. Ambrose! 2-0 win for the women - Kate Young/2 Goals, and 3-1 win for the men - St. George/Bonilla/Calbert all find the net in the second half to retain the Bishop's Cup. The Loras men's and women's cross country teams took some time out of their "preseason" schedule last week to lend a helping hand to the Little Maquoketa River Mounds area. Way to go Duhawks! Loras College Athletics The only player in Loras College men's basketball history in the top ten in rebounds, blocks, and assists, Jake Oeth, also scored over 900 points in his career. "It's a great opportunity to serve the people of Iowa and work for a good senator who has the good people in mind," Oeth told the Dubuque Telegraph Herald!
Jake Oeth recently returned to his college stomping grounds to be the eyes and ears for a senator. The 23-year-old Loras College graduate spent a jam-packed couple of days in the Dubuque area touring industrial parks to eventually report back to U.S....
