Duds for Doodlebugs

What does the class consist of. I have a 2yo lil boy that I would like to get involved in activities with other children.

what kind of classes?

(this is Jill) The class features activities involving animals and sometimes the kids get to see animals (like bunnies and iguanas and ones that are safe to show them.) Really cool. I've taken photos for the Impact at them. I'm taking my little boy to this one now he's old enough.

My grandmother would put a dime in her pot of black-eyed peas, the person who finds the dime is supposed to have good luck in the New Year. She did it, my mom did it, I do it & my daughter's (both are college age) still look for the dime in the peas. lol

Also, I started our own tradition, since my daughters have never liked plain black-eyed peas, I make the peas just like red beans & sausage, except with black-eyed peas; they still will only eat them this way.

They need them by Thurs. afternoon-- Gifts for older kids are especially in need.

I don't remember the best X'mas present but I do remember in grade school that the cheerleaders were selling big pom poms like the ones they cheered with (not little ones on a stick) the poms were real full & were made out of some type of paper similiar to streamers. every time I did a cheer a few more strands would break or come out but since they were so full it took several years before they started looking thin and punny. I loved those pom poms!!!

(this is Jill) I'm not sure what was the best but I have several dolls I got such as two cabbage patches (Millie and Vanessa) that were special along with a "life-like" looking baby I named Bridget.

What is the Holiday Spectacular?

It was the show last weekend at the Multi Purpose Center... mostly arts/crafts vendors but we also had a small booth there.
