The Teaching Communities Program at Duke Divinity School recognizes that forming Christian leaders in the theology and practice of reconciliation requires a close connection with living signs of hope, the faithful witnesses throughout North Ameri...ca and the world who embody deep wisdom about the journey of reconciliation.
This year we welcome Angelina Atyam, co-founder of the Concerned Parents Association for parents of abducted children. We will also welcome Bishop Paride Taban, founder of the Holy Trinity Peace Village, a holistic community where people of different ethnicities and religious backgrounds live together in peace.

Josephine Munyeli survived the genocide in Rwanda in 1994 and became an advocate for reconciliation through the ministry of World Vision. Josephine is a core partner of the Center for Reconciliation's Great Lakes Initiative. She is coming to Duke for the first time to share her story. Treats will be provided!
