The calendar may still say September, but the famed Oktoberfest beer celebration in Munich has begun. Yesterday, the 16-day beer fest was kicked off as the mayor of Munich tapped the ceremonial first keg of Bavarian brew and cried out the traditional declaration: “O'zapft is!" ("It's tapped!").
