ELVIS PRESLEY October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and since the nationwide program began in 1985, mammography rates have more than doubled for women age 50 and older and breast cancer deaths have declined. In support of this great cause and awareness campaign, Elvis Presley’s Graceland mansion in Memphis, a National Historic Landmark, will glow in a shade of pink starting the evening of Thursday, October 1st, 2009.
