'There'll Always Be An England'. This was one of the tunes the marching bands played whilst parading past the memorial this morning. I had the TV on (BBC) and was kinda stunned when it dawned on me that I haven't heard that tune for eons and it brought home to me the simple fact that...we no longer have an England. During the falklands war the bleating from the labour benches and their european friends gave the public and our armed forces a resolve and determination to win a war that the public understood and in the main supported. Labour M.Ps like tam dalyell consistently tried to undermine the campaign at a time when the servic...es (depite being under resourced in regards to equipment) needed the full support of parliament.
