These images arrived in a PDF from someone in Belgium. These are probably Mursi and Suri. The Omo River empties into Lake Turkana. Lately, it's been spoiled by too many tourists, probably lured there by images like these. Sigh....

Interviews are no longer between two people. The interviewer determines the questions, only listens to part of the answer, then cuts the interviewee off. Journalism on television sucks because the interviewers and networks apparently have Attention Deficit Disorder. They're always in such a hurry to get somewhere el...se other than where they are. I only wish I could hear more of what Ingrid had to say during that segment. Glen Beck has Ingrid Newkirk on his TV show, and has the opportunity to learn a great deal about an issue of which he knows nothing. Great interviews are about the subject matter, not themselves. It reminds me of a quote from Oscar Wilde, "To reveal art and conceal the artist is art's aim." Glen Beck would do well to conceal himself better.

Earthlings Joaquin and I met to discuss Unity today. It's a complex project because the film is rather philosophical. In Earthlings the narrative was more straightforward and described animal treatment while the video cited examples. But Unity is a study in apathy, and why we cultivate benevolence and love towards some, but aggression toward others. Anyway, his input was invaluable.
