Jim Nicholson Lived at the corner of Lakewood and Winstead about 2 blocks from Whiterock Lake. Went to Lakewood Elem, J. L. Long and then Woodrow. Graduated in '75.

Larry McDonald I remember moving around Texas, then to William Lipscomb. Then out of town again an then back to J.L. Long, Lived at the Covington Terr apts. Then to Reiger and Glasgow, right across the street from the parking lot of Woodrow. The parking lot attendent was named Steve, real nice guy. All of this was from the early 60's... to 1974. I remeber I thought I was bad ass with my 65 Mustang, dragging down Slaughter st. between the parking lots of Woodrow........on and on and on......................

Russ Grew up since 1979 on Santa Maria Ln., 2 streets southwest of Mockingbird, off of Williamson Road. I road my bike to and around White Rock Lake.

Kim Groseclose I lived on the corner of Treemont and Gaston. Then we lived on Reiger across from Woodrow Wilson High School. My HS grad of '86!

Arlene Colbert Born and raised in the Knox-Henderson area, east of Central. When I had the opportunity to move here as an adult by buying my parent's house, I moved back. Bonham, Spence, North Dallas. Hard to say what this part of town is. Sometimes, I say, "East Dallas,"and when trying for greater accuracy, I say, "'Near' North Da...llas." Only in the past 5-10 years has it been referred to as "Knox-Henderson." Wherever it is, it is an exciting time to see this area grow into something quite unexpected. Have to put up with the negatives, the biggest of which is traffic on the two lane streets and parking. Gotta go with the bad in order to have the good, I guess.

Donna I was born at Baylor, and we lived on Northway St. when I was a baby. It was nice to finally see the area as an adult! Lots of character.

Joan Miller Peterson Lived right off Greeneville on Mercedes & then Bonita. Walk to the Blue Goose for breakfast on Sundays. Miss it.

Michael Palma I went to arts magnet and am considered the best jazz pianist to come out of there.........i kicked in lakewood with my boys blake, jeannot, willl, elliot, brendan, taylor, and all the kids back in the day....we used to own the streets of lakewood a few years ago
