Personal Information:
I began fantasy art sculpting at the beginning of 2004. Inspiration comes from many places - fantasy writing and painting, Arthurian legend and the ancient mythology of the Celts. My figures are one of a kind pieces, hand sculpted in polymer clay over wire armatures, baked, painted, wigged and costumed by hand. Sometimes I'm set off on the sculpting adventure by just a scrap of fabric, a colour, sentiment or something found on a walk along the beach or through the woods.

Thanks Zarah! Well, I just went the whole of May without finishing a sculpt - awful person! I was held up with late delivery of supplies so couldn't finish La Bauta & Arlecchina (arrived today - woopee) and I have several others, sculpted but not dressed, laying around awaiting futher attention. Hopefully June will be more productive! As two of them are Lady Chatterley & Mellors (1:12th scale, posable, lol!!), I better get on with it...

King of the Woods, new profile pic, is up for auction on on eBay now!

Its great i love it! i'd make it a white fan with black lace edging, would really show up against and compliment the black cloak.

Extra thanks to Pat who pointed out that I could in fact paint the fabric for the fan - d'oh!!! So obvious, but I just didn't think of that!

Thank you, all, opinions much appreciated - have to say I like Moondancer's idea of both but whether I can make that work on something so small, I'm not sure. Will see what I can do with lace & Stiffy. (It's a fabric stiffener...)
