Jackie Rowntree I would like as much distant healing as possible, I have had the worst year of my life, at certain points suicidal, and am still struggling with living. I am doing the distant healing to myself (past and present) and want as much Reiki love coming to me as possible to start the new year clean and fresh. Love and light to all god bless xXx

Everything you do matters (Just for Today Be Kind to Others!)
In a world of six billion people, it’s easy to believe that the only way to initiate profound transformation is to take extreme action. Each of us, however, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do... and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others. As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward. The impact you have on the world is greater than you could ever imagine, and the choices you make can have far-reaching consequences. You can use the ripple effect to make a positive difference and spread waves of kindness that will wash over the world.
Should the opportunity arise, the recipient of a good deed will likely feel compelled to do a good deed for someone else. Someone feeling the effects of negative energy will be more likely to pass on that negative energy. One act of charity, one thoughtful deed, or even one positive thought can pass from individual to individual, snowballing until it becomes a group movement or the ray of hope that saves someone’s life. Every transformation, just like every ripple, has a point of origin. You must believe in your ability to be that point of origin if you want to use the ripples you create to spread goodness. Consider the effect of your thoughts and actions, and try to act graciously as much as possible.
A smile directed at a stranger, a compliment given to a friend, an attitude of laughter, or a thoughtful gesture can send ripples that spread among your loved ones and associates, out into your community, and finally throughout the world. You have the power to touch the lives of everyone you come into contact with and everyone those people come into contact with. The momentum of your influence will grow as your ripples moves onward and outward. One of those ripples could become a tidal wave of positivity.

Reiki: pure & simple Five Reiki Precepts by Hyakuten Inamoto Sensei: http://bit.ly/uNCf7

Julie Chapman-Gordon Our little dog Tess, is a Yorkshire Terrier. She’s 17 and she’s our little girl! In July she developed some mamory lumps which grew very quickly and on inspection at the vets we cried all the way home at the poor prognosis that he gave us. It was a warm summers day and she loves to walk across the fields near our home,... that was the route we walked to the vet. She was happy walking, tongue hanging out and black shiny nose, people stopping to make a fuss as she's so cute! But we had to be prepared for the worse. We hardly spoke a word en route. The vet explained that the massive surgery involved a complete mamory strip and that ,particularly because of her age, she was unlikely to survive the operation. We had already decided before we went that surgery wasn’t going to be an option as we wanted her to enjoy her last days without the added discomfort of wounds and the trauma of invasive surgery. He also advised against surgery because of her age and as she didn’t appear to be in any acute pain, no medication.Of course we started to spoil her even more than usual. And, we started to give her Jikiden Reiki! Everytime she was tired, she’d sit on our knee and we would place hands on her. To me the Byosen was like popping rice crispies in the palm of my hand, and intense pulsating heat.Tess became very open to the Reiki and began rolling onto her back and exposing her ‘poorly’ for us to place hands, almost asking for it! She lay still and she absorbed like a sponge and we were amazed as she usually hates lying still on her back, or being touched other than stroked in the usual way. If you can imagine, at worst her teats were so swollen that she looked as if she had just had pups. It was very noticeable. Over the last 3 months the swelling has gone and she looks nearly back to normal, she still has the lumps but they are smaller, more isolated and less aggressive looking. The 'popping rice crispies' Byosen reduced and disappeared over a period of time. The vet had warned us initially that the swelling would cause the skin to break and that she would get infections in the skin and that we would then have to consider the unthinkable. So you can imagine how amazed we are that things have improved so much.We don’t know why the positive effects of Jikiden Reiki continually amaze us, We think perhaps Usui Sensei should have concluded the Gokai with the addition of, 'Never fail to be amazed by the effects Jikiden Reiki!’ It’s okay to be amazed, it’s a special universal gift and it has no barriers or boundaries on living things and yes, of course it works and it is amazing and it's for everyone, particularly at this moment in time, for Yorkies!Hands on and long live Tess, she may not be cured, and none of us will live forever but she is soothed and comfortable, and because of that, so too are we.

As a Reiki master practitioner, I transfer the energy to my client by placing my hands either directly on or slightly off the body. I work with pets and people, and I’ve found that animals, especially cats, are incredibly receptive to the Reiki energy.
