You need to understand who is controlling the flow of money and getting rich in every situation, to understand economic motivations ... and that also means understanding political motivations in most cases. Joseph has a good point, if you can control the game, you can go ... See Morethrough boom and bust cycles. In boom times, everyone makes money, and you (as financier) make increasing interest payments. During the busts, when people default on payments, you load up on their assets on the cheap.Neat system huh? We will be writing more about that this week!
