That's like telling me to go to McDonalds for a burger! I have a nice supply of locally raised meat from a meat CSA. No Ikea!

Edible Pioneer Valley MORE CHOCOLATE PLEASE! This is why I love Mark Bittman, tips on how to coat anything in chocalate.

You are no doubt aware that chocolate-dipped anything can make a platter special, but perhaps you have also been put off by the process of tempering chocolate.

Edible Pioneer Valley Cold days are made for hot soup. My favorite is a steaming bowl of chicken tortilla soup from La Comida del Barrio by Aaron Sanchez (enjoyed with a copy of Edible Cape Cod.)

Thanks for the tip! My favorite Mexican cookbooks are by Rick Bayless. I think the one I have is called "Authentic Mexican". Everything is amazing from it!

Edible Pioneer Valley Holiday Party trick: If you're making hot mulled wine, use the cheap stuff. No need to splurge when you're adding sugar, cloves and nutmeg.

Edible Pioneer Valley Nothing's better on a cold, drizzly day than a big pot of turkey stock bubbling on the stove. (Except it's making me hungry for turkey!)

My in-laws, who live on the Cape, are trying to join their meat CSA... It makes me happy to see the (literal) lengths people will go to for high-quality food.
We got our bird from Diemand Farm this year (via Food Bank Farm's Thanksgiving Store); it was superb!
