The Rock Trust Spend a night outdoors and help the most vulnerable young people in Edinburgh and the Lothians. Our annual winter fundraiser, The SleepOut is taking place this year on Friday 27th November in Edinburgh. Dig out your sleeping bag and join us for a night of entertainment under the stars. Award winning illusionist Kevin M...cMahon will be wowing us with his magic routine, and we will be having a midnight quiz from the Rock Quiz master. The Rock Trust Join us for The Rock Trust Kilt Walk™ on the 22nd August 2009! It’s a sponsored walk for all the family where you can proudly wear your kilt, or flash some tartan along with hundreds of other kilted walkers, on a 5km route around some of Scotland’s most famous sights.

Starting and finishing at the Ross Theatre in Edinbu...rgh’s West Princes Street Gardens, the route loops round the Gardens, past the back of Edinburgh Castle, before dropping back down to the finish directly below the mighty Castle ramparts!

Make A Truly Scottish Day Of It!
No need for stretches, the build up to the event will begin at 11am with a ceilidh which is guaranteed to get you warmed up! The Walk will start at 12pm, and should take a maximum of one hour to complete. Every participant will receive an event t-shirt and a Scottish themed goodie bag. In addition, there’s a host of entertainment planned at the Ross Theatre, including performances from the Commotion Women Drummers and Cantara.

The Ladyboys - one of the biggest shows of the Edinburgh Fringe - are joining us at the start of the Kilt Walk on August 22nd to show their support for the Rock Trust. They will add colour and spectacle to this fundraising event. Clanedonia will also be there supporting the event.
So come join The Lady Boys of Bangkok who will be ... See Moredonning their pink kilts to walk with us and Clanadonia will be using their unique pipe and drums performance to keep it tribal!!!’. There will be a photocall held at 11.45 just before the walk.

Show your support too by joining us at the Ross Bandstand, West Princes Street Gardens on August 22nd. We look forward to seeing you there.
