What is the connection between North Edinburgh and Darwin, the scientist whose theory of evolution changed the way we see the world? Poet Anita Govan has been working with the Evolving Words group at North Edinburgh Arts Centre and David McClay, curato...r at the National Library of Scotland, to find out more. Together they have created and rehearsed poetry inspired by what they have discovered.
On 11 November the poem will be performed for the first time at North Edinburgh Arts and a short exhibition will be launched.

This weekend the 'Running Time' exhibition opened at the Dean Gallery, and you have until 22nd November to see it! The exhibition displays Artist Films from Scotland from 1960 until the present day, and uses footage from the Scottish Screen Archive, so it's well worth a visit! And it's free...
