Before my husband and I had kids we would each pack a shoe box full of items for Operation Christmas Child. These boxes go to children in developing countires who would otherwise not have any Christmas presents. When we had our daughter three years ago, we added another box and decided that for each member of our fam...ily, we would do a box each. My daughter started picking out items for her box last year and this year, with the birth of our son, we will pack a box on his behalf. We believe that Christmas is about sharing and helping others. Hopefully our kids learn to look beyond themselves and see the needs of others.Read More

I love the baking that we do every year for Christmas! We always bake lots of cookies and tarts and yummies, and the kids make packages to take to our nieghbours. Christmas eve we make fresh cinnamon buns to eat when we wake up on Christmas morning! :)
I love decorating our tree too. We get to spend time with family, ...drinking hot chocolate, and remembering all the ornaments from our childhood. I love everything Christmas especially our Christmas tree. My husband and I have travelled quite a bit since getting married and we have bought a Christmas ornament from every location that we've visited. When we put up the tree we take that year's ornament and put it on the tree where everyone can see it.
