Si Elgar passa les quinze dernières années de sa vie dans un silence à peu près total, marquées seulement par quelques morceaux de musique de chambre, il entreprit néanmoins la composition d'une troisième symphonie et d'un concerto pour piano, do...nt les brouillons furent d'abord repris et travaillés par Robert Walker.
Une oeuvre belle mais peu connue, à écouter sur Deezer...

Lindy Daniel I have a vinyl 333 record Elgar Centenary recorded 1931 and 1932 Falstaff London Symphany Orchestra. Anyone know anything about this?
Roy Redman Check out The Music Makers. It is now one of my absolute favorites. Unfortunately, it was abused by Jaap Von Sweeden with the Dallas Symphony las year. Get a good recording by one of the english conductors. You will love it!
