About Me:
I was raised in the small town of Pease, MN, where I learned the values of community and working for the common good. These values guided me to become a Methodist minister and enter public service, serving on the Blaine City Council and then as the city's Mayor. I also served as Minnesota Transportation Commissioner, where I developed light rail and commuter rail plans and fought for a fully-funded infrastructure.

I currently live in Blaine with my wonderful wife, and I enjoy spending time with my children and grandchildren. I am fortunate to have such a loving, supportive family.

Thank you for visiting my Facebook page. I'm proud to have your support. With your help, we'll win in November and defeat the Rove-style politics and Bush-style policies of Michele Bachmann. We'll restore optimism in the 6th District and get our country back on track.

Congrats on the endorsement, El. It sure will be great having someone in Congress with so much knowledge about how to get us out of all these traffic jams. Good luck.
