Elaine Littau I don't know how many of you know that I have been dealing with fibromialgia pain for some time now. I must be in a "flair" or something. I don't know and you don't even have any animals in the house to blame! I swear they multiply by the hundreds every day in our house, but what should I expect with 3 dogs, a cat and 3 guinea pigs in the house. I can dust and vacuum and then they are right there again an hour later! AGH!

Paul and me went into Joplin to Keith's to watch the grandkids so Keith can sleep. Keith works nights and Abby worked more hours today so they needed our help. With three energetic kids ages 7,5,&3- it was a very busy. They basically wore Uncle Paul and Ninny out. We are tired, but we had fun.

Elaine Littau Every year our kids and us get the local newspaper & read the Santa letters. We choose several categories and vote on best overall. We laugh and laugh. It is especially funny when they add drama and funny voices into the mix...a tradition.

We actually open it on Christmas morning although it seems like Christmas Eve - because we go to the midnight candlelight service and then come home and open presents! We thank God before so we share together the message of why we are celebrating.

Our tradition has been to open on Christmas Eve and then have Santa stuff on Christmas morning and extended family after Christmas dinner (If at grandma's) The rest is the Sunday after Christmas.(Gifts from extended family at the final Christmas dinner.)
