Elgin, ND The Jacobson Memorial Hospital Foundation will be holding their 2nd Annual Prime Rib Supper and Art Auction on Oct 2. There will be games starting at 6 p.m. and the meal will be served at 7 p.m. with the art auction to follow. Advance tickets will be available at area banks, at the Elgin Community Clinic and Glen Ull...in Family Medical Clinic in Glen Ullin as well as several other area businesses until September 25th

Elgin, ND The Elgin Saddle Club will host their annual rodeo this weekend June 12th and 13th. Events kick off Saturday, June 12th at 6 p.m. The two day rodeo will continue on Sunday at 2 p.m. Make sure you make you way to the Elgin Rodeo Grounds for what's sure to be a weekend full of excitement.
John Pfutzenreuter It has been nearly 40 years since I visited Elgin but I still have fond memories of the days on my Uncle Vernons farm. My sister Mary and I will be traveling again to the plains to enjoy a weekend of Family. The Reimann's and the Pfutzenreuter's will be represented en masse. I look forward to sunny days, cool nights, w...arm receptions, and boundless enjoyment. I own a red truck so if anyone sees it circling please stop me and point me in the right direction. Coming from the city one wheat field looks just like an other to me.

Elgin, ND The state’s largest rummage sale event, the ninth annual Highway 21 Treasure Hunt, is set for June 11 and 12. During the event, communities along Highway 21 in southwestern North Dakota host citywide rummage sales along Highway 21 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. MT June 11-12. The "REAL COLOR of America" project is designed to bring a spot-light awareness to Voter Determined cities and towns in need of inclusion. Through the travels across America, open plein air creations coordinated with Local Fund Raising Organ...izations geared towards poverty reduction, food, special needs and disabilities, this project will create a unique abstract documented map of the path traveled. The result will be an American Exhibit.
Each location will be a selection of sites and the choice will be up to you! Through Online Voting, travel itinerary will follow, "Tell me where to Go" – Your City is Included in the Voting
