For those wondering why this year's produce is late, here is a picture of 1/4 inch diameter hail taken at 2:00 P.M. on May 10th!
We have lost almost 1/8 of our strawberry crop to the late and unseasonable rain.
Rain is good, but this radical change in pattern makes life difficult for small farmers like us.
