Elkton Volunteer Fire Company Daylight Savings Time starts tomorrow night, Nov 1. As we set the time back 1 hour its a great time to also replace the batteries in your smoke detectors. A working smoke detector doubles the chance of surviving a fire. It’s critical to test your smoke detectors regularly and to replace the batteries in battery-opera...ted units at least once every six months, as well as in battery-operated carbon monoxide detectors.
