I am Cuban by default…hmmm; I should explain...I was born en “La Habana” in the 60’s. By the time I arrived into this world, my father had landed in jail for a second time. The first time he was arrested, he was a military police officer for the Castro regime. ...

Beautifully and powerfully written! And having lived in Miami a bit and being part of the Cuban community there, I totally understand your point of view!

Thank you Asuka....yes your point of view must be fascinating considering your background is Japanese but you were married to a Cuban man. It must've been quite an adventure for you living here and experiencing this reality. Gracias....

Elsten Torres This Video was created by Angel Aguilar. A friend & a fan since back in my Fulano days. He asked me if he could do a video using this song "Estados Unidos"....this is his work. The song is from the 1997 BMG/RCA album, "Normal", and with these images the song takes on a whole new meaning for me. Thank you Angel!!!

Elsten Torres Filmed in NYC, "Los Demas" was the other video we shot as FULANO. Directed by: Patricio Suarez. My Favorite scene...Adam's guitar solo and how the subway doors shut right at the end of his solo - One Take! We lost Adam for 3 days after that but it was well worth it - 1999.
