Each day the Port ofLA emits over 30 tons of NOx, while a half a million cars emits less than 24 tons and the average power plant emits less than 5 tons.

EndOil Dirty coal electricity supplies almost half of our power here in Los Angeles contributing massive amounts of smog-forming toxic pollution and millions of tons of climate changing gases every year.



As part of our efforts to get the City to replace coal power with clean energy we're asking you to sign onto a letter to th...e Mayor asking for a comprehensive plan to install solar panels on our houses, our businesses, and create large scale solar farms.



Southern California has world-class solar resources. We will need to tap those resources in order to get us off dirty fossil-fuel power. Follow the link below and send the Coalition for Clean Air's letter - one of our partner organizations - demanding a clean energy plan.
