This is Brady! Brady was given to us by a family member who just didn't have enough time to spend with him, and they knew we were currently looking to adopt a dog. We went through some rough times in the beginning, but as he grows and becomes more and more well behaved, he becomes more and more embedded in our hearts.... This is my precious JRT Charlie. He was abandoned by a family that didn't bother training him as a puppy & also neglected him. I adopted him from the Kalamazoo Animal Rescue a little over a year ago. He was still very skinny; we were able to see his ribs & spine. He also had lots of behavior problems & he didn't know h...ow to interact w/us. Now with love & training we have discovered an intelligent, amazing companion who wants to be near us all the time. He is a wonderful member of our family & I can't imagine my life w/out him.

This was Maya, my only GOOD dog. Maya was sent to me to teach me many lessons, I like to think I learned her lessons before she went to the bridge. (1) Kindness does not equal weakness. (2) It is possible to rule with a velvet paw and still be respected. (3) Don't hold a grudge, kill 'em with kindness - you'll win o...ut every time. (4) My life is infinitely better with a dog than without a dog. I am certainly not perfect, but I am pretty sure I am a better person because Maya was such a good teacher... she made learning an adventure. Because Maya was such a good dog, I mistakenly thought it was due in part to my being such a smart human, real dog smart. For this reason I became involved in dog rescue... what a reality check. Fortunately I had Maya to help me with the problem dogs - she helped ease them into our routine and taught them how to be a happy and well adjusted family member. Many more dogs have homes now because I had Maya as my teacher.Read More

Mary This is our two year old English Bulldog, Lila. In this pic I cought her trying to steal some cookie dough off the counter. She keeps us laughing and goes everywhere with me, just like my Envirosax!
