Marty Smith Team Eppy and M.E.(#640) had a great time. We started dead last as the runner was going over the bridge when the gun went off. But with a great run, a good bike and a fast kayak leg we managed to place 12th in our division. Also got a picture of Eppie and Eppy at the finish line. Thanks to all the volunteers. It's truely a Great Race!

Mel I attended Sac State back in the 1980's and also worked for the Running Scene Magazine based in Sac, so I've known about this race for many years and had always wanted to do it but never got around to it till this past weekend - 25 years later. I had a great first-time experience once my girlfriend and I figured out th...e logistics of the transistions. Good thing I only live in Vallejo and was able to come up the week before to check out the transition points. I will definitely be doing this race every year from now on. Thanks to all the Eppie's volunteers for their great work. PS - I also work for Kaiser Permanente and was thrilled to see their participation and sponsorship in this event. Check out my photos on my website at www.orpilla.com

Susan Marsh I had a great time participating, this year and for three years running now! One piece of feedback, if it could be incorporated next year -- is there a way to automatically feed your team number into the release form that you are asked to fill out and bring in exchange for your packet? I assumed it was on there and it ...wasn't, so I had to first get in the (longest) line to look up our team number. There was only one volunteer working that line, and other volunteers at that table would have sped up the process.

Nicole I cannot thank the Committee and volunteers enough for putting on the most amazing and fun race in the Sacramento area yet AGAIN! If I wasn't racing every year, I'd be out there helping out wherever I could! Can't wait to defend my title next year! :P Thank you-thank you-thank you!!!
