See, our DA's in Alabama are more clever than this. They don't give deals up front. A lot of it is done with a wink and a nod. Of course, things get taken care of after a decent time has passed. Cases get dropped, charges reduced, etc. But hey, he testified truthfully that there was not a deal in place.
