Throughout history many individuals have risked their liberty using civil disobedience and non-violent direct action to bring about change. While peaceful direct action itself is a last resort, its power to deliver change must sometimes be harness...ed.

A day of training in Non-Violent Direct Action for LGBT community members that want change attitudes and behavior by promoting fairness for all.

Workshop includes:

Short history of Civil Disobedience
Direct Action Skills
Non-Violent Communication

Training by experienced gay activists. All welcome, no experience necessary, fun and empowering. FREE (donation welcome) . Bring your own food for lunch, tea and coffee available at Outhouse.
